Trade group equip Ford’s newest flagship distributorship.

Bristol Street Motors is a prime example of a forward looking company. As soon as they decided to move their Stoke on Trent Ford Dealership, they were straight onto garage equipment specialists The Trade Group to support their ambitious plans.

Trade Groups start to finish total management philosophy paid dividends, by involving the group when the architects develop the building plans, helped avoid all the workshop layout pitfalls, maximized the opportunity to choose the latest in garage equipment, removed the worry and necessity of coordinating several product and services suppliers during installation and provided peace of mind for the after fitment service plan.

Trade Group member Stefan Bullworthy explained their involvement. “With our reputation built on the vast amount of experience we have gained in garage projects both large and small, Bristol Street Motors gave us a clean canvass and a tight brief, we were asked to develop the workshop CAD plans in conjunction with the architects building plans. Not only is there a large capacity, multi bay, service area, featuring several Rotary two post lifts but also the latest Trademaster, MOT, Automated Test Lane, to the latest VOSA standards, a CV servicing area, a fully fitted tyre bay with the latest Hofmann Megaplan tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment, which also features a Rotary, in floor, scissor lift. We also supplied and installed all the site lubrication utilising Alentec Orion equipment, the compressed air system utilising Mark silent running compressors and also fitted Fumex fume extraction equipment for this very successful project”.

Stefan Bullworthy, who was responsible for the project, was amongst the many invited guests who were given a guided tour of this newest and most impressive Ford dealership at the recent grand opening, which was performed by Ford of Britain’s Sales Director, Nigel Sharp.
