The Trade Group cast net of knowledge

The Trade Group

If you talk to any of the Trade Group garage equipment members you will see that they live and breath garage equipment and everything connected with it, they have specialised in this area unlike many other companies who use it as an add on business. The Trade Group comprises of nine like minded companies all with a common goal, which is to provide leading quality garage equipment, at the most competitive prices, as quickly as possible and with full ongoing planning and service support, nationwide.

They place customer information high on the agenda and to endorse this point they have just launched a brand new website www.thetradegroup.uk.com designed to keep the aftermarket garage trade in touch with what’s new, to offer advice on choosing equipment, to provide professional help with workshop planning, product installation, training, MOT support and aftercare service.

They have also provided a direct link on the site to each Trade Group member because they believe a close and trusted relationship with customers is essential and to endorse this point the group have expanded their technical support team to over 60 engineers nationwide to cater for all the customers’ requirements, both pre and post installation.

Terry Bullworthy a senior Trade Group member said, “Generally, the garage trade have been slow to embrace computers, information technology and the wonders of the internet, now with the new generation of technicians joining the trade, we find more and more customers are using the internet and its fast becoming a major avenue of business opportunity”. Bullworthy continued “The internet provides a wonderful method to provide information and advice and also to be able to display the very best in garage equipment at the touch of a button, it’s a great boon to our sales teams and technical engineers to be able to discuss matters on line instantly and to the benefit of not only our business but especially for the added value to our customers business.”

Proud to be the First

The first ever fully operational Automatic Test Lane (ATL) was installed by T.R.Bullworthy Ltd in August 2005.  Since then, the Class 7 lane has been a show piece for Bullworthy’s encouraging many customers to take the ATL route when choosing an MOT bay.

The Class 7 test lane was ordered by John Nixey back at the ATS show in April 2005.  John chose the equipment for his new workshop,  MOTEC in chinnor, and needed to call upon Bullworthy’s years of MOT planning experience and close working relationship with VOSA.

The equipment supplied to John was the MAHA test equipment, the first test lane to get full ATL approval from VOSA, and includes;  Maha Carlift 4 post lift with PMS play detectors, Maha Eurosystem PC based brake tester with weighing system, Maha Lite 1.1 headlamp tester and the extra option of the Maha suspension tester.

If you would like more information on the Maha test equipment then please contact us now.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank John Nixey for his support and personal help in getting his bay to be the FIRST.

Rotary Launch New Lift

Friday, December 10th, 2004
The ROTARY SPOA3T is now available. The new 2 post, fully hydraulic lift is the latest addition to join the world famous range. Featuring only a 3000mm external width yet a massive internal working width of 2350mm it is already popular with the German car manufacturers.

The rear arms can swivel through 180 degrees. This substantially increases the pick up flexibility, allowing vehicles with short or long wheel bases to be lifted without difficulty. As with the rest of the Rotary lift range the lift carriage bearings are made of self lubricating and absolutely maintenance free Tivar 1000 polyethylene. Two characteristics that help reduce operating costs considerable.
