What to look for in a four post lift

Always make sure that a lift is CE approved - it’s your guarantee that it meets the right design and safety criteria. Four post lifts tend to be used for wheel support applications and often for heavier vehicles. Look for good capacity and overall strength - particularly in platform design - this may be essential for some applications such as wheel alignment.There should be proper provision for jacking beams particularly where built in turn plates or wheel alignment are used. Check for service support - the name on the lift is not always the name of the manufacturer.

The Rotary 4 post lift range offers a high quality lifting solution for cars and light commercial vehicles. Lifting capacities range from 4 to 5.5 tonnes with options for platform widths and lengths. Models are available for standard service, Class IV and VII MOT and ATL use and precision wheel alignment.

There are two ranges of lift available.The ‘SM’ series which is for standard service work and the ‘AR’ which is used for Class IV & VII MOT and ATL installations and high precision wheel alignment.

The wheel alignment range has two-piece rear slip plates for added versatility and front recesses to accommodate turn plates. There is also a special Mercedes-Benz version which is supplied with wiring for the MKS system, camera mounting brackets and a fully approved jacking beam.

For ATL versions, platform extensions, housing VOSA approved play detection equipment, are attached to the front of the lift. All Rotary 4 post lifts are provided with a 2 year parts and labour warranty as standard.
